CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Army West Point senior Kelsey Minato and Bucknell freshman Kyi English were named the Lids Team Sports Patriot League Women’s Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week for their performances during the fourth week of the 2015-16 season. Minato helped the Black Knights to a pair of come-from-behind wins and set an Academy record in career points during the game against Yale, while English contributed 21 points to help the Bison improve to 5-3 on the season.

LIDS TEAM SPORTS PATRIOT LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK 
KELSEY MINATO, ARMY WEST POINT
 Sr., 5-8, G, Huntington Beach, Calif.
Minato helped the Black Knights to a pair of come-from-behind victories over Yale and Albany (receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll) and set an Academy record in the process. She became Army’s all-time leading scorer after converting a lay-up with 27 seconds left in the third quarter at Yale and currently has 1,967 points -- which ranks third all-time in Patriot League history. Leading the Black Knights out of an 11-point deficit, the senior netted 20 of her 27 points in the second half and posted an NCAA DI single-game high of 16 made free throws. Less than 48 hours later, Minato tallied 12 of her 16 points against Albany in the second half and once again helped Army post another comeback victory, after trailing by 12. The Black Knights defeated Yale, 65-61, and Albany, 65-62, and improved to 6-1.

LIDS TEAM SPORTS PATRIOT LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
KYI ENGLISH, BUCKNELL
 Fr., 5-5, G, East Orange, N.J.
English tallied a total of 21 points across two games, posting a career-high 13 points in the Bison’s 72-62 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday. The rookie contributed seven of her 13 points in the fourth quarter alone to help Bucknell erase a nine-point deficit at the half. She also chipped in eight points in the Bison’s 55-47 loss to Youngstown State. After hitting two three-pointers against both the Penguins and Knights, English has now recorded at least one trey in four-straight contests.

JOSIE STOCKILL, COLGATE Sr., 6-3, F, Napier, New Zealand
Stockill posted a career-high 23 points, leading the Raiders to their first win of the season – a 63-53 victory over LIU Brooklyn. The senior was 11-for-14 in the field, another career high, and notched 15 of her 23 points during the second half.

QUINCI MANN, LEHIGH So., 5-10, G, Oakland, Calif.
Mann totaled 43 points across two games played this week, averaging 21.5 point per game. The sophomore reached a career-best of 23 points, going 5-for-8 from beyond the arc, in a close loss to Illinois on Sunday. Before visiting the Fighting Illini, Mann scored 20 points in the Mountain Hawks' one-point loss to Saint Joseph’s.

COLLEEN MARSHALL, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., 5-9, G, Gaithersburg, Md.
Marshall helped Loyola Maryland post a 1-1 record this week and led the Greyhounds’ offensive efforts against Old Dominion and Mount St. Mary’s, contributing a total of 37 points. The senior posted 23 points against the Mountaineers, in addition to five steals, four assists, and four rebounds, and was 10-for-11 from the line.

ANGELA RIBARICH, LAFAYETTE Fr., 6-5, C, Toronto, Ontario
Ribarich posted double figures for a second-consecutive game and helped the Leopards to their second win of the season and best shooting efforts (52.5 percent) since surpassing 50 percent (55.8 percent) in December of 2011. The freshman netted 12 points against St. Francis Brooklyn in 21 minutes off the bench, going 6-for-10, in addition to posting two boards, two blocks, and one steal.
